I have not investigated them as of now, but once I'm in the full swing of things I may be interested in having a look around. There are also a ton of great-looking features Landr offers. Landr is just more modern and somehow a simpler setup imho. There's nothing absolutely wrong with CD Baby. It was obviously built to be as simple and transparent as possible. At any rate, once I began to engage with the platform I found it to be a drastically better-feeling interface than CD Baby.

If you are okay and able to pay extra for features that are free on Landr and intend to release monthly in hopes of getting some Spotify editor's attention for playlisting, probably go Distrokid. Admittedly, Distrokid may be superior for the intention of Spotify playlisting given that Spotify has a stake in Distrokid (which seems like ought to be Illegal and NOT ALLOWED), so it almost seems certain that some kind of preferential treatments must take place, but I digress. If your plan is to release AT LEAST monthly there is not a better fit for this specific goal, given the industry standard list of providers they deliver to (as of 8/29/22). My partner and I decided to move our distribution from CD Baby to Landr because of its unlimited release plan where you keep 100% of your earnings. Releasing monthly? LANDR is probably best.
